Am I Fit Enough? Yes. Our sessions stay in one location, so can be taken at your own pace without being left behind. We have many new members who have not done any sport before and enjoy the non-competitive atmosphere at training. If you would like a kick-start, you might enjoy starting with our 12-day Reset programme- it’s free, and if you are a new member taking part for the first time, you can enjoy unlimited training in the park for free during the 12 days.
Am I Healthy Enough? When you become a member, you’ll be asked to fill in a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire to identify any injuries or health problems you have. This will make our trainers aware, who can help you tailor the training sessions suitably. If you are unsure if training will be right for you, drop your number in the box below, and one of the One Element team will call you to chat about your individual needs. See our full Ts & Cs here.
What Do I need to Bring? You’ll need to be wearing sports gear that you are happy to get wet or muddy, and something dry and warm to wear before and afterwards when it’s cold. Trainers are fine in dry weather, but when it’s wet a basic pair of studded boots will help you avoid injury. Bring a bottle of water and leave your valuables at home. All kit will be left together on the ground near to where we train.
What if it’s raining/snowing/ foggy/sub-zero temperatures outside?
We’ll be there braving whatever elements the British weather throws at us. Wrap up warm!
What are the different types of sessions? Each week, we focus on a different aspect of your training needs. Every session will start with a thorough warm-up and stretch, before moving on to the main part of the session. This rotates through plymetrics, lactic, strength, cardio, boxing and core. Every 12 weeks you can test your fitness to see how far you’ve come.
I’m pregnant, can I train with you? Congratulations! Although it’s safe, and even beneficial, to exercise during your pregnancy it’s best to wait till you have had your first scan to start an exercise program and you will also need a short note of permission from your midwife, or GP. Its not recommended that you start doing anything your body hasn't already been doing, when you are pregnant its all about a maintenance exercise program not trying to increase your fitness level. We'd highly recommend the "mums" session at Wimbledon, or 1 to 1 personal training with a trainer who is qualified in pre/post natal.
| I’ve just had a baby, can I train with you? Congratulations! Again, it is best to wait till you have had your 6 week check or 10 week for c-section and have been given permission from your GP and/or midwife to start an exercise program. Since your body still has not fully recovered from giving birth it is recommended you start attending the "mums" session at Wimbledon, or 1 to 1 personal training with a personal trainer who is postnatal qualified. There are many exercises that aren't recommended for post natal women, and you do need more individual attention after having a baby. Babies are more then welcome in buggies at the mums sessions.

As with your membership, you are free to train in different parks however we do ask your initial park so that we can ensure we always have suffient trainers at each area.
This is to ensure we can deliver our training to the high standard we run at, and to keep it challenging for all.
