Tom Marien Managing Director & Trainer
| Tom founded One Element in 2006 and his passion for training and his simple, positive values are at the core of what One Element stands for. Tom leads group sessions, takes one-to-one training and consults for companies including Grant Thornton and Petronas, advising and presenting on optimizing business performance through health and fitness. He has also, along with a nutritionist and health psychologist, written Reset™, One Element’s free, 12 day exercise and nutrition programme. |
Alex Bignell Trainer
| Alex has senior grades in English Korean Karate and Samurai Jiu Jitsu. He won the EKKA Student of the year award and has fought in national competitions in both disciplines. Having hung up his martial arts belt, he now cycles with The Chevaliers, regularly riding over demanding terrain for 125+ miles per day, for several days. He completed the Royal Marines POC a few years ago. Alex is REPS level 3 qualified and holds an Active IQ Level 3 award in Pre & Post Natal exercise.  |
Tom Reseigh Trainer
| Tom graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in Sports Technology where he specialised in a two year study on the effects of variable inspiratory muscle training in Olympic athletes. With a love of all contact sports, he has represented both Sussex and Leicestershire at County Rugby. In addition Tom completed the 2010 London Marathon.

Dave MacCullum
| David has a level 2 Australian rugby union coaching certificate, plus is also accredited in SAQ (speed, agility, quickness) training. He spent 2 seasons as a Head Development Officer for the University of Queensland rugby club and worked with 1st XV school teams. David was fortunate enough to represent Australia and play on the international world sevens circuit and made his professional rugby debut with the Queensland reds v British Lions in 2001.

Tor Speed Trainer
| Tor is an instructor with a special interest in circuit training. She competed in athletics and netball but now indulges her love of running (including the London Marathon and shorter distances) and cycling to fit in with her busy lifestyle as a lawyer and mother of two young and very sporty girls.

Suzanne Trounson
| A keen surfer and snowboarder, growing up in a small coastal town in New Zealand, Suzanne has always been involved in the outdoors. Before moving to the UK, Suzanne worked for a Youth Development Organisation based in New Zealand, facilitating youth development onboard a Tall Ship. Suz is involved in One Element’s Marketing and is one of the first points of contact for new members joining us. Her bubbly, outgoing nature makes her approachable and reassuring for any new members who are nervous or new to fitness. |
Samantha de la Haye Sports Massage Therapist
| Sam enjoys keeping fit and is a keen attendee at the Tooting site. In her spare time Sam likes to stretch herself and raise money for charity by taking on the odd crazy challenge - the Marathon des Sables and the Frankfurt Ironman to name a couple. Sam is a BTEC Level 5 qualified Sports Massage Therapist and works with a variety of sports (and non-sports) people. Sam works from the Earlsfield studio three days a week and also provides a mobile service. Sam also looks after our existing One Element members and helps with all our ongoing administrative projects. |
Jake Stephens
| Jake has competed in a variety of sports - from kayaking to badminton and has been a canoe instructor, qualified football referee and a swimming teacher over the years. He thrives on keeping fit and helping others achieve their goals around an active outdoor lifestyle. Outside One-Element Jake runs his own IT business and also works setting up cross country charity walks. You will find Jake's sessions aim to push you to the limit but are highly rewarding.

Michael Pan Physiotherapist
| Michael from Meyer & Associates Chartered Physiotherapists holds a BSc Physiotherapy Honours. He has worked with the stars from Strictly Come Dancing South Africa and the SA Ballet Theatre, as well as being the team physiotherapist for the SA Falcons Rugby Team. Michael is interested in any sports related injury. He specialises in back and neck injuries, including whiplash, and particularly enjoys the rehabilitation aspect of chronic injuries/conditions.

Tony Gear Trainer
| Tony has been participating in a variety of sports from a young age, representing Bedfordshire at Colts level in football, cricket and rugby union. He holds level 2 coaching badges in cricket and rugby, and level 1 in football.
Tony has been teaching A Level Physical Education, and running two college Rugby Union sides for a number of years which has helped him hone and adapt his coaching and leadership skills. His own philosophy on fitness is using your own body weight and working with others for resistence in delivering excellent results. He enjoys cycling and in the summer completed an independant, epic cyccle from Bruges to Rome. This year he hopes to complete both the London Marathon and a bungee jump! |
Michael Phan Trainer
| Michael is a REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer and also a keen runner (8 International Marathons – PB 3:15 to date (inc 4 of the 5 World Marathon Majors)), football captain and beginner triathlete. Michael is enthusiastic and passionate about training his clients for their sports specific (running, football and rugby to date) and overall fitness needs.

Elias Inatty Trainer
| Elias is a Sport Scientist with a MSc in Cardiac Rehabilitation from the University of Essex. His experience ranges from athletic conditioning to training people suffering from heart disease. He is a REPs level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and has also been a competitive swimming coach in the US for more than 6 years. In addition, he is a Masters swimmer currently training for various competitions such as the British Masters Nationals and the World Masters Championships in Italy. |
Alex Kenchington
| Alex is an extremely passionate and driven personal trainer who specialises in sport specific, nutrtition, injury rehab, weight management and self defence. His passion for fitness started at a young age when he dedicated himself to competing in boxing, which he still keeps up today. He is currently qualified as a REP’s Level 3 personal trainer, along with holistic C.H.E.K qualification, which is world renowned. Alex is commiteted to getting strong, fast, sustainable results and takes no prisoners. |
Nicola Millburn Trainer
| Nicola graduated from Loughborough University with a degree in sports science and chemistry before gaining a qualification in vascular ultrasound and then REPS Level 3 personal training qualifications. Involved in sport all her life including cross-country running, basketball, hockey and tennis, Nicola is currently club captain at Spencer Tennis Club where she helps the team, as an outstanding player and coach.  |
Carly Syme Trainer
| Carly is a REPS Level 2 qualified studio instructor with plenty of experience in taking group sessions such as aerobics, body conditioning and legs, bums and tums. Prior to becoming a trainer, she was a member of training in the park for over a year. On top of her full time job as a retail analyst, she is also a keen runner having competed in several 10k races. She is currently training to run her first half marathon this year. |

| Clare rowed for her school and continued on at Durham University, competing twice for her college at Women’s Henley and subsequently coached at Vesta RC. She also played lacrosse throughout secondary school, competing and winning Middlesex Tournaments and National Schools Championships. Clare qualified as a Personal Trainer in 2006, is qualified in Sport Massage, Kettlebells, Pre/Post Natal, Nutrition and Boxing and is currently studying for a Diploma in Sport Psychology. |
Millie Williscroft Trainer/ Sports Massage Therapist
| Millie is a NASM/REPS Level 3 Personal Trainer and Level 4 Sports Massage Therapist. She also has additional specialist qualifications in pre/post natal training and as a CSIA Level 2 Ski Instructor, acquired whilst in Whistler, Canada.
Millie's sporting background includes national championship medals in swimming and athetics, giving her unique exposure to nationally and internationally recognised coaches.
Whether you are an excercise novice or competetive sports person, Millie's passion and enthusiasm for health and fitness is infectious, and her positive approach will encourage you each time you train. |
Glenn Coburn Trainer
| Glenn is a fitness all-rounder, with experience including boxing, martial arts, football, circuit training, sports conditioning and nutrition. He formerly competed at national level in school football, before gaining a HND in Sport and Leisure Management and a BA (Hons) in Health and Fitness Management. He is REPS Level 3 qualified, working as a personal trainer since 2008. He is also currently taking on additional training towards a tutor and assessor qualification through YMCA fit. |
Huw Collins Trainer
| Huw played for London Welsh RFU from the age of five, winning the National Schools 7s at Rosslyn Park. Huw played fly half for Saracens and was also involved with the Welsh U-19s, Newport Gwent Dragons Regional U-20s and the Welsh Exiles U-19s. Huw spent two years with the St Louis Rams in the NFL, where he worked with some of the best sports coaches in the World. He has also played County tennis and is a keen footballer.  |
Mark Smith Trainer
| Mark is a true sporting all rounder. He has a Sports Science degree from Brunel University and is also RFU and TAG Level 1 qualified and ASA Level 1 swimming qualified. Mark has played semi-professional Rugby for nine years and continues to play for Staines RFC. In addition, he has achieved honours representing Leicestershire and Midlands for both Rugby and Athletics. His 100m PB is an exceptional 10:92. He also achieved podium finishes in the National Swimming Championships. |
Neal Johnston Trainer
| Neal is a Sport Exercise and Leisure Graduate and a former Irish student international rugby player. Despite a career-ending injury, Neal has continued to follow his passion for health and fitness in the form of ultra-endurance events, most recently completing the 2010 Marathon Des Sables. Having relocated to London in August 2010 to lecture in Sport and Fitness, Neal currently educates the next generation of gym instructors and personal trainers. Neal has a successful portfolio of personal training clients and also works with a successful Harley Street chiropractic clinic.

Paul Allum Trainer
| Our resident Action Man, Paul was a Royal Marine Commando for eight years. He ran the London Marathon 2008 and 2009 and climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in East Africa, for charity, in November 2008. Paul is REPS Level 3 qualified with extra qualifications in kettle bell, core stability and medicine ball training. Paul is also passionate about nutrition with advanced certificates in sports nutrition and weight management. |
Alice Richardson Trainer
| Alice has played international Rugby since 2005 and is part of the England Squad, representing England in both 7s World Cup in 2009. She was also a World Cup finalist in September 2010. She has a Sports Science and Nutrition BSC Honours degree and is currently studying for an MSc in Strength and Conditioning. She also has a wealth of fitness and coaching qualifications including Level 2 Rugby Coaching, Level 2 Fitness Instructor, SAQ, Shokk Extreme and Strength and Conditioning for Sport. |
Paul Weinreich Trainer
| Paul is REPS level 3 qualified, and in addition to working with One Element, coaches at Highgate Harriers Athletics club and leads lead a Beginners running group. He is currently training for 3 Ironman events for 2011, Lanzarote, Austria and Henley-on-Thames and has a goal for 2012 and further is to go in Ultra Marathon running.

Sally Hibbert Trainer
| Sally competed in a variety of sports - from netball and tennis to gymnastics and sports acrobatics - but it wasn’t until she ran the London marathon in 2005 that she decided to turn her passion into a career. She is now REPS Level 3 qualified and has five years experience, the last two years of which has been with one element where she is one of our head trainers and leading postnatal expert.

Sam Village Trainer & Social Secretary

Sam is a REPS Level 3 qualified Personal Trainer and an RFU Level 1 Rugby Coach. He works with professional racing drivers to help them lose weight and increase their strength, and runs training camps for them in the off-season. A keen runner (Berlin Marathon in 3:20; Paris Marathon 2:50), Sam is passionate about training clients looking to improve their running, for pleasure or competition. Sam is also our resident Social Secretary, organising our socials and other events, as well as running a fortnightly ‘Higher Fitness’ session for our fittest members.

| Tom has a BSc (Hons) in sports science from St Marys University College and studied personal training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine. His areas of expertise are lean muscle gain, weight loss, boxing and sport specific training You will find Tom’s sessions intense, fun and progressive. Tom has gained county honours in cricket from Surrey and has led his district team to success for the past 2 years. |
Tom Miklausic Trainer
| Tom specializes in Rugby training techniques and has played Rugby at first class level with England honours at boy and colt level as well as for three years professionally at Gloucester. Tom has a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Brunel University, and spends much of his free time in the mountians pursuing both winter and summer sports.

Rachel Harris Admin Team

Prior to working for One Element, Rachel had been a member at Training in the Park for just a few months. Having not done much sport since skiing and playing women’s rugby at University, she decided a kick-start was in order and joined the 12 day Reset programme. She recently completed her first 10k run in under an hour and continues to train every week at Battersea, Wandsworth or Peckham. Rachel is involved in promoting One Element, doing all sorts of behind the scenes admin and chatting to new and existing members.
